Oh. My. God. There is a fucking geyser busting out of the street! A water main broke right near rock-creek-park and it's shooting water something like thirty feet in the air! IT IS SO GORGEOUS!! As many of you know D.C., their nation's capital, is one of the most run down and horribly underfunded cities we have. I'm sure some of you can still remember when all tap water was to be boiled before drinking. This was when they "discovered" that their water treatment plant was over two hundred years old and a one point was relied on the kinetic energy of a lone mule pulling a rope. And now ouyr neighborhoods are spontaneously turning in to lakes and rivers. Perhaps it's the swamp spirits taking their revenge for being encased in pavement and cement. I love this town.
